AT&T Strengthens Mobile Broadband Coverage in Surprise and Sun City West

PHOENIX, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In a continuing effort to address the growing demand for advanced wireless data products and services, AT&T* today announced the activation of five new cell sites in Surprise and Sun City West that will enhance coverage for area residents and businesses.
The new cell sites are part of this year's planned expansion of AT&T's 3G mobile broadband network--the nation's and Phoenix's fastest, according to recent data compiled by leading independent wireless research firms. It is also part of AT&T's investment to build the broadband networks that will create jobs and fuel economic growth, and enable its customers to access the content, applications and services that matter most to them.

The five new 3G sites are enhancing coverage for residents and businesses in Surprise and Sun City West. The improved coverage is focused in five distinct areas:
- In Surprise along Highway 303 between Cotton Lane to the west, Reems Road to the east, N Goldwater Canyon Drive to the north and Greenway Road to the south.
- Along Highway 303 in Surprise between Cotton Lane to the west, 157th Avenue to the east, Greenway Road to the north and W Peoria Avenue to the south.
- In Surprise between West Mountain View Boulevard to the west, Reems Road to the east, R.H. Johnson Boulevard to the north and Gila Springs Drive to the south.
- At the Cimarron Golf Club, along Highway 303 and in the surrounding Surprise neighborhoods between Aztec Point Drive to the west, Shadow Mountain Road to the east, Circle Cliffs Road to the north and Palacio Drive to the south.
- In Sun City West between West Grand Avenue to the west, North Stardust Boulevard to the east, Horseman Lane to the north and Ravenswood Drive to the south.
