"The AT&T and MeadWestvaco implementations of BlackLine's software are model examples of how IT investments closely aligned to business goals can deliver significant ROI," said Rebecca Wettemann, vice president of research, Nucleus Research.
BlackLine's implementation at AT&T resulted in a 689 percent ROI and full project payback in less than two months, as determined by Nucleus Research. AT&T also reports saving more than $1.6 million annually since using BlackLine. A similar case study conducted by Nucleus showed that MeadWestvaco achieved 495 percent ROI and also saw project payback in just two months.
"What's even more remarkable," Therese Tucker, CEO of BlackLine, said "is that one of these companies achieved their ROI by switching from a competitor's product. We are delighted with this independent validation of the BlackLine advantage."
Other award recipients utilized technology from Cisco, Microsoft and Salesforce.com. However, only BlackLine and software giant IBM's Cognos placed two clients in the prestigious top ten.
