University of Phoenix Brings the Power of 'Team' to Cleveland With Free Event Featuring Author Keith Ferrazzi
Posted on: Tuesday, 1 September 2009, 09:53 CDT
CLEVELAND, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- In a world where business success depends increasingly on working effectively in teams, Keith Ferrazzi's new nine-step program for team-building has never been more important. University of Phoenix, an early innovator in team-based learning, will showcase Ferrazzi's approach in a free event it is sponsoring for the author on September 10, 2009, at Quicken Loans Arena, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Ferrazzi (www.keithferrazzi.com) will showcase the approach he developed in his newest book, Who's Got Your Back. In fact, he will start putting the principles and tactics into practice, right in the room. The seminar is an interactive, transformative experience for sustainable change. In the first part of the 60-minute talk, Ferrazzi will lead participants through a series of exercises to shift their mindsets from isolation to connection.
Ferrazzi will show attendees that becoming a winner in any field of endeavor requires a trusted team of advisors who can offer guidance and help to hold them accountable to achieving their goals. It is the reason Ph.D. candidates have advisor teams, top executives have boards, world-class athletes have fitness coaches, and presidents have cabinets. Whether one's dream is to start their own company, move up the corporate ladder, overcome the self-destructive habits that hold them back, or make a difference in the larger world, Who's Got Your Back will give people the roadmap they've been looking for to achieve the success they deserve.
University of Phoenix, the largest private university in North America, has long recognized the importance of working together in business and in life.
