Comedy Central's Too Late with Adam Carolla will mark The Man Show host's return to his comedy roots, the cable network announced Thursday.
It's a joyous reunion -- like a battered wife moving back in with her alcoholic husband, Carolla said in a news release issued Thursday.
The half-hour show bows Aug. 8, right after The Daily Show.
Each show will include opening comments, a guest interview, live phone calls from viewers and pre-taped interviews with Carolla and people on the street.
Too Late with Adam Carolla is produced by Jackhole Industries, which is comprised of Carolla, Jimmy Kimmel and Daniel Kellison.
