Spotify Now Available In App Store
Spotify, which is a Swedish music streaming website, announced on Monday that it has an app now out for Apple's iPhone.
The application for the iPhone is available to download for free from the AppStore for customers that subscribe to its premium service, according to a statement made by Spotify.
Music fans can sign up for the company's ad-supported free service, or pay about $14 a month for commercial free music.
Users can search for new music and then stream them directly on their iPhones. Playlist can also be saved to use when there is poor mobile reception.
The service is seen as a huge rival to iTunes because of its free library of millions of songs.
Spotify asked Apple in July if its software could be made available on the iPhone and both companies struck a deal at the end of August.
The Swedish company's software is only available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Britain, France and Spain.
