GVI Security Solutions to Introduce AutoIP(TM) VMS and Industry Leading Samsung Electronics 43X Zoom A1 Cameras at ASIS

CARROLLTON, Texas, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GVI Security Solutions, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GVSS), a leading provider of video security surveillance solutions featuring the complete Samsung Electronics line of products will introduce a range of exciting new products including their AutoIP(TM) Video Management Systems (VMS) software and industry leading Samsung Electronics 43X zoom A1 Chip color cameras at ASIS International 2009 in Anaheim, California, September 21-24, 2009, booth 1509.
GVI will launch their new fully automated AutoIP(TM) Open VMS solution that makes IP video management practical for the mid-market. With fully automatic configuration and setup, AutoIP(TM) automatically detects, configures and records installed network cameras and makes installation simple across a broad range of applications including schools, financial institutions and retail chains. AutoIP(TM) has the power to make IP video simple. AutoIP(TM) will be available for license both as a software installation as well as pre-installed on mini-tower, desktop and rack-mountable servers.
GVI will also be introducing a new industry leading 43X Zoom Samsung Electronics color video surveillance camera featuring Samsung Electronics A1 chip technology. The A1 chip brings digital IP quality video and features to the Analog video market. The A1 chip delivers advanced image processing, high-resolution image quality, virtual progressive scan, day/night functions, as well as built in analytics for intelligent video. The A1 chip is the perfect bridge to IP for the huge installed base of legacy analog systems and demonstrates GVI and Samsung Electronics commitment to continue to invest in, support, and provide the latest in technology to the analog market.
With both GVI and Samsung Electronics membership in ONVIF, (Open Network Video Interface Forum) the industry organization behind the development of a global standard for the interface of network video products, AutoIP(TM) will be fully compliant with the ONVIF specification for networked video device interoperability. AutoIP(TM) will be able to configure and control the full range of ONVIF specification network video devices from a broad range of ONVIF members creating a broad and growing market opportunity.
