Summit Technical Solutions, LLC Wins $91M Prime Contract for Department of Homeland Security

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Technical Solutions, LLC (STS), a professional technical services provider to the federal government, announced today that the Company has been awarded a prime contract with the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to provide National Records Center (NRC) and File Storage Facility (FSF) Records Operations Support Services (ROSS). The contract has a one year base period with four one-year option periods and is valued at approximately $91 million, inclusive of the options.
Under the contract, STS will provide records management services at the USCIS NRC located in Lee's Summit, Missouri and the USCIS FSF located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The primary functions of this contract include but are not limited to: records distribution management, file operations, and scanning of files/documents. The object of these services is to provide comprehensive records management services in a secure and safeguarded manner that ensures efficient, effective, and accountable records responsibility and excellent customer service.

The USCIS NRC currently houses approximately 25 million files and the USCIS FSF currently stores in excess of 28 million files. Together, these facilities serve as a central repository for U.S. citizenship and asylum applications in support of the USCIS Records Program.
