CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Further enhancing services for its fast-growing data-intensive customer segment, US LEC Corp. , a super-regional telecommunications carrier providing integrated voice, data and Internet services to businesses, has introduced Data Network Reports, a convenient on-line reporting tool that provides updated trend reports on a customer's entire US LEC data network and on their most heavily used individual circuits.
This state-of-the-art system allows customers to see individual and whole network trends in utilization, congestion, discards, and other similar network dispositions. Data Network Reports include both historical trending and near real-time update reports regarding a customer's Internet connection or frame relay network and how they are being used. Customers may also choose to download raw data, for their own analysis, or a neatly formatted PDF version of their reports.
"US LEC is the best communications partner for businesses, and giving customers more power to manage their data services and evaluate their own needs is paramount to this," said Jeff Blackey, senior vice president for US LEC. "US LEC's Data Network Reports allow customers to not only monitor what's happening with their data services, but to confirm for themselves that US LEC is meeting its commitments."
Blackey continued, "During the second quarter of 2003, US LEC added nearly 700 new data customers, growing data revenues ten percent from the first quarter of 2003 and 103 percent from the second quarter of 2002. The introduction of the Data Network Reporting tool reflects our 'customer comes first' philosophy as more and more businesses continue choosing US LEC to provide their mission-critical data services."
Reporting on the data network and individual circuits consolidates vital statistics that include Port Utilization, Discard Eligible Packets, Discarded Packets, Byte Counts, Frame Counts, FECN, BECN and Network Availability. The US LEC Data Network Reports are available with all US LEC Advanced Data Services, which include US LECnet, US LECnet ISP, Frame Relay, and ATM services.
