Foris and Runcom to Expend Their WIMAX Collaboration in Mozambique

GENEVA, October 6 /PRNewswire/ — Foris Telecom, the leading WiMAX
operator in developing countries, and Runcom Technologies, the ODFMA pioneer,
announced today at the ITU TELECOM WORD 2009 in Geneva that they will enhance
their collaboration in Mozambique, Africa, by substantially deploying
additional quantities of Base Stations and User Terminals.

The Foris WiMAX Network in Maputo was recently connected to the SEACOM
Fiber Cable system that substantially increases the capacity available for
the subscribers and enables the addition of more subscribers to the Network.

expansion plan for broadband wireless services in other developing countries
