ROCHESTER, Mich. and FRANKFURT, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- TSystems and Microsoft have signed an agreement on joint business software provision online for companies with more than 5,000 users. TSystems is the only German sales partner for such cloud services with Microsoft products. In the future, corporate customers will be able to put together a software package tailored to their needs and use it online as and when required. This new offer is called BPOSD (Business Productivity Online Suite - dedicated)*. Instead of buying licenses, companies can now acquire individual services online for a fixed monthly fee per workstation.
"This new agreement with Microsoft reconfirms the long strategic cooperation between our two companies," said Olaf Heyden, Managing Director for the IT and network infrastructure (ICT Operations) at T-Systems. "Offering software, storage and bandwidth online and on demand is the future. We ensure the necessary security - from the networks and applications through to the data."
T-Systems has been a Large Account Reseller for Microsoft products since 2003 and a strategic partner since 2005. The ICT service provider also supported the launch of Vista, Exchange, Biz Talk, Unified Communications and Business Intelligence as a Gold Partner and was a Gold Partner for the launch of SharePoint in 2008. Numerous mobile T-Systems solutions are also based on Microsoft technology.
