At ITU Telecom World 2009, WISeKey Launches Security Service to Help Companies and Governments Protect Their Customers From Identity Theft and Mobile Transactions

Today, at ITU Telecom World 2009, WISeKey introduced a new suite of
identity authentication programs centered around the new eKey+, a
biometrically encrypted USB key worthy of
Designed to help increase trust between users and network and e-commerce service providers, WISeKey said the security software suite will offer corporations, small business owners, and government agencies the ability to give their customers and colleagues access to their sensitive data to perform transactions from unsecured access points.

of observing customer behavior patterns in e-banking and e-commerce for
better consumer goods and government services," said
The potential for fraud is a major hurdle for the evolution and growth of
online commerce, according to the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and
Development (OECD). Identity theft is defined as the process of using someone
else's personal information for your own personal gain. In 2008, identity
theft worldwide increased by 22 percent from 2007. The Aberdeen Group has
estimated that
WISeKey's market research shows the eKey+ product line is guaranteed to drive up average revenue per user for telecommunications and others companies and governments. The eKey+ is based on a biometrics-based multifactor authentication using embedded WISeKey PKI and Digital Identification technology.
