TAMPA, Fla. and BOSTON, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- OnForce, the trusted online services marketplace that matches solution providers with quality local service technicians across the U.S. and Canada, today announced it will integrate with ConnectWise, the world's leading SaaS/Cloud provider of professional service automation (PSA) applications, and its scalable platform for unified business process management systems developed for IT service companies.

The new platform provides tight integration between OnForce and ConnectWise, helping service buyers increase profits, gain competitive advantage and contain service costs by streamlining the IT outsourcing workflow process. Solution providers, who are challenged to deploy in-house service technicians, or need contractors with competencies outside of their core business areas, can quickly find the right service technician to fulfill individual work orders, instantly create a ConnectWise service ticket for an OnForce work order based on the criteria they select.
The ConnectWise platform provides on-demand PSA and related business applications such as CRM, financial management, collaboration, sales and service ticketing, inventory, reports and analytics, and enables customers, partners and third-party developers to build and integrate their own hosted applications. Other benefits include reduced implementation risks and requirements, scalability, flexibility and increased capabilities to optimize their company's overall bottom line.
"Through this integration with ConnectWise, tens of thousands of IT service companies using ConnectWise PSA software-as-a-service have access to our virtual nationwide network of service technicians, and can manage IT service projects from start to finish through one portal," said Peter Cannone, CEO, OnForce.
"OnForce's strength, in consumer electronics and information technology service deployment, is a critical part of the total ecosystem for IT solution providers," said Arnie Bellini, ConnectWise CEO. "ConnectWise is proud to add OnForce and its thousands of technicians, to the largest network of tools, knowledge and support for the VAR, systems integrator and solution provider community."

Posted by John Smith on 10/27/2009, 12:21 The CLOUD connectwise has gone down for 2 days in a row, and left us with no answers for hours while they tried to resolve "hardware" issues. We thought that CLOUD computing is virtual and doesn't rely on hardware. A company such as ConnectWise should NEVER go down and this affects our productivity as we have 20 employees who count on using this system for all facets of our business. A Cloud that goes down sounds more like RAIN on the parade! |
