SAN MATEO, California and PARIS, October 21 /PRNewswire/ –

– Provides Flexibility and Scalability Required by One of Europe’s
Largest Public-Sector Networks

Bizanga, the global company behind the most scalable and full-featured
email and message processing platform, and Vade Retro, a leading company in
Anti-Spam technology, today announced that RENATER, the French National
Telecommunication network for Technology, Education and Research has turned
to Bizanga’s Intelligent Message Processor (IMP) and Vade Retro solution as
the system behind its newly launched Anti-Spam Service.

As one of the largest national research and education networks in Europe
(NREN), RENATER selected Bizanga’s IMP platform together with Vade Retro’s

post-processing while providing the throughput and scalability necessary for
such a large deployment.

“We are very pleased with the flexibility of the IMP”, said Professor

Dany Vandromme, RENATER’s Director. “Bizanga’s solution enables us to easily
cater to the individual requirements of each RENATER member. Furthermore, it
integrated into our complex infrastructure without a hitch.”

RENATER provides the multi-Gigabit Internet backbone and services on its
dark-fiber network for more than 1,000 research and education sites across
France.

“We are extremely pleased about this agreement with RENATER”, said Serge
Dugas
, GM EMEA of Bizanga. “This is our first reference in the public sector
in Europe, opening a new area of growth for Bizanga. As in other markets, we
have again been able to demonstrate our ability for better performance and
scalability, show better return on investment and deliver a solution on time
and exceeding customer requirements.”

“We are very happy to collaborate with RENATER. Vade Retro Technology is
an antispam solution which will allow to secure all members of the RENATER
network with a high quality of protection”, said Emile Devred, Business
Manager of Vade Retro Technology.
