Gulf Shores Area Service Provider, SmartResort, Now Beyond Communications

CARY, N.C., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Connexion Technologies announced today that one of its service provider partners, SmartResort, will now be known as Beyond Communications, throughout all locations where it provides voice, video and data services to its customers. Under this name, Beyond Communications has been serving thousands of customers nationwide. Beyond Communications will also be expanding its service offerings in all locations where SmartResort is operating. SmartResort customers will not experience any service interruptions and will enjoy enhanced services and support after the transition.

Connexion Technologies selects service providers like Beyond Communications to deliver telephone, television and/or Internet services to communities throughout the Gulf Coast. Connexion Technologies is not a service provider, but rather it owns and manages a community's telecommunications network. It then leases the network to service providers to deliver entertainment and communication services.

In addition to services such as digital television, IPTV, and video on demand, Beyond Communications plans to offer television-based file transfers, instant messaging, and Internet Radio. In the future, fiber-optic technology combined with an IPTV platform will help Beyond Communications bring even more advanced services to residents.
