Posted on: Tuesday, 3 November 2009, 12:29 CST
Virgin Atlantic has launched its first iPhone app for people who are afraid of flying.
The new app was designed to coincide with the company’s Flying Without Fear course, which claims a 98 percent success rate.
The app was developed with Mental Workout, a software company that specializes in stress relief.
"Our first iPhone app will bring the benefits of our successful Flying Without Fear course to millions of people around the world who are now using mobile technology to make their lives better," Richard Branson, president of Virgin Atlantic, said in a statement.
"The app will put many travelers at ease and enable them to prepare for their first Virgin Atlantic flight."
The app features a video that explains the flight process, answers frequently asked questions and helps nervous travelers relax with breathing exercises.
