T-Mobile Says Outages Have Been Fixed, Cause Being Investigated

Wireless phone provider T-Mobile USA announced Wednesday that its service outages were resolved as of late Tuesday.
The outages began at about 5:30 p.m. EST Tuesday for about 5 percent of T-Mobile’s customers.
According to the Associated Press, T-Mobile subscribers from Atlanta and Los Angeles complained about the outages on Internet message boards.
T-Mobile said the cause of the outages is still under investigation.
Last month, users of T-Mobile’s Sidekick phones suffered a failure that caused them to lose data that was stored on servers belonging to a Microsoft subsidiary.
