GTSI Names Sandy Gillespie Vice President and General Manager Professional Services and Business Capture

HERNDON, Va., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GTSI Corp. (Nasdaq: GTSI), an enterprise infrastructure solutions and services provider, has named Sandy Gillespie as Vice President and General Manager, Professional Services and Business Capture. She is responsible for leading the strategic focus of GTSI's professional services, capture, proposal, and business development teams. Ms. Gillespie reports to Scott Friedlander, GTSI President and Chief Operating Officer.

Ms. Gillespie has nearly 25 years of experience in creating vision, leading change, identifying opportunities, building services organizations and delivering significant results in the information technology, logistics, mission system integration and professional services industry for defense, civil, state and local markets. Before joining GTSI, she was vice president and general manager of the Mission Systems & Homeland Security Solutions product line for Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company. Prior to Raytheon, she was vice president for Information and Knowledge Solutions at Lockheed Martin Corporation responsible for a $600 million operation with more than 3,000 employees. Before Lockheed Martin, she held several leadership positions at DynCorp, including vice president and chief operating officer of DynCorp Management Resources.
Ms. Gillespie has been recognized with numerous industry awards for leadership, program management and new business capture.
Ms. Gillespie holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in computer science and accounting from Jacksonville State University, Ala. She is involved in numerous organizations including the National Defense Industrial Association, the Industry Advisory Council and the Information Technology Association of America.
