Pigeon Point Systems Demonstrates Compliance and Interoperability of Best-In-Class xTCA Products

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pigeon Point Systems, an Actel company, announces continued compliance and interoperability initiatives for its xTCA(TM) board and module management controller releases. Formal testing for the recently released Pigeon Point management solutions based on the Actel Fusion® mixed-signal FPGA and the Renesas H8S microcontroller was demonstrated live at the 2009 ATCA Summit xTCA SlotFest using Polaris Networks' ATCA Testers. The SlotFest also featured dozens of Pigeon Point management controllers embedded in participating xTCA products. These successful demonstrations reconfirmed Pigeon Point's dominance as an xTCA management component supplier.
