AT&T Rings in the Holidays With a New High Tech Store in Tanger Outlets in Deer Park
DEER PARK, N.Y., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Just in time for the busy holiday shopping season, AT&T* today unveiled a new high tech wireless store located in Tanger Outlets in Deer Park.
The spacious new location is 3,900 square feet with an interactive design that redefines the wireless shopping experience. “The innovative layout makes it easy for customers to try before they buy today’s most sought after wireless products for the holidays,” said Tom DeVito, vice president and general manager of AT&T in New York and New Jersey. “Our staff can provide hands-on tutorials on the latest smartphones, quick messaging devices and the coolest accessories.”
The store is located in the Tanger Outlets in Archers Circle just off the intersection of Commack Road and Grand Boulevard in Deer Park. Wireless veteran and Suffolk County resident Nathaniel Wilson leads a team of eight sales consultants specially trained to assist customers – both business and consumer- with purchasing decisions, customer service and technical support. Regular hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
This season’s holiday hours include a special midnight opening and deals or “door busters” on Black Friday, November 27; extended hours 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. from December 11 to December 23. The store will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on December 24; closed December 25, and open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. December 31 and January 1.
The new location in Tanger Outlets brings the total number of AT&T-owned wireless locations in Suffolk County to eight, including a device support center in Islandia that provides customers with face-to-face device trouble shooting, education on handset functions and features, replacement SIMs and batteries. Other locations in Suffolk County include North Babylon, Lake Grove, Shirley, Melville and the Smithhaven Mall. AT&T has 14 AT&T-owned stores in Nassau County and one device support center in Hicksville.
