AT&T Recognized for Excellence in New Product Innovation by Analyst Firm Frost & Sullivan
DALLAS, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — In recognition of AT&T’s ongoing commitment to the growth and success of small businesses nationwide, AT&T* today announced that it is the recipient of the 2009 North America New Product Innovation Award in Information and Communication Technologies from industry analyst firm Frost & Sullivan. Specifically, the award was presented to AT&T for its AT&T Tech Support 360 service introduced last year.
Frost & Sullivan noted that AT&T was the first communications services provider among its peers to offer the small and midsize business customer market a service like AT&T Tech Support 360, which provides remote, online technical support, including wireless network setup, software installation and training, setup of security software and configuration of peripherals – including PDAs, printers, cameras and iPods. Additionally, AT&T Tech Support 360 technicians can provide training on Windows 7 to help ensure small and midsize businesses get the most from PC’s equipped with the new operating system.
Since its launch last fall, 100,000 small businesses have purchased AT&T Tech Support 360 services. In addition, AT&T Tech Support 360 has scored very well in customer satisfaction, with more than 90 percent of customers saying they’re “very satisfied” with the service.
