“We are very excited that ASUS has selected to deploy our all-inclusive SRS Premium Sound suite on their latest computers,” said Allen H. Gharapetian, Vice President of Marketing for SRS Labs. “We’re very proud of the success we’ve seen with SRS Premium Sound and having it included in several new PCs from ASUS demonstrates that our powerful audio solution is quickly becoming the de facto standard in PC audio enhancement.”

SRS Premium Sound provides ASUS PCs with a natural and immersive surround sound experience, complete with deep, rich bass and crystal clear dialog, while broadening the overall sound stage across any speaker configuration – internal laptop speakers, desktop speakers or headphones. To reproduce audio the way it is meant to be heard, Premium Sound dynamically optimizes subtle nuances and rich sounds buried in the original music and video content.

“Sound quality is considered to be an integral part of the PC’s overall design,” said Eric Chen, Vice President of System Business Group for ASUS. “When choosing a solution that would provide the best audio experience, SRS Premium Sound was the logical choice, and consumers can be confident that they are receiving the best possible audio performance from their ASUS laptop, netbook or all-in-one.”

SRS Premium Sound is now available within the ASUS UX30, UL20, UL30, UL50 and UL80 models, which feature Intel’s new range of Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage (CULV) processor; the ASUS EeeTop PC ET2002T, and the ASUS Versatile Performance F83, K40, K50, N61 and N71 models.

With the expansion of SRS sound within various new ASUS PC models availability at retail worldwide, SRS has reaffirmed its position as the standard for consumer audio solutions within a wide range of consumer electronics, including PCs.
