York Telecom Corporation (privately held), a recognized expert in complex visual communication solutions and services, today announced the launch of C-CureWare, a certified, secure network solution designed specifically for videoconferencing. This certified, approved type-1 security solution designed specifically for videoconferencing offers secure dialing on-screen (through the codec), an A/B switch to enable Secure/Non-Secure switching for multi-level security situations and a clearly recognizable lighted signal to indicate Secure/Non-Secure call status.
C-CureWare is the culmination of two decades of experience with customized encrypted, dedicated networks. Designed using the same expertise applied in the solutions implemented for numerous Federal Agencies, as well as other Government and Corporate organizations, C-CureWare ensures a user-friendly, reliable, encrypted, dedicated network, built specifically to handle the rigors and unique requirements of videoconferencing.
With the reliable, failsafe, switch, this secure network solution allows both secure and non-secure videoconferences to run across the same network backbone. The self-contained security console meets Communication Security (COMSEC and EMSEC) and TEMPEST guidance and policy requirements.
York Telecom's solution integrates network termination equipment, an IMUX, a secure/non-secure signal-switching module, optical isolation, and KIV/KG compliant devices. The secure solution is compatible with video codecs such as Polycom and Tandberg products, which contain a high-speed serial dataport. Solutions are available for a range of encryption standards including KIV- 7 and KIV-19.
"C-CureWare is based on the same type of tested and proven secure networks we've designed for numerous Federal Agencies," said York Wang, CEO and Founder of York Telecom. "The expertise we've applied in these and other existing encrypted, dedicated and dial-up secure applications over the last two decades has allowed us to develop a solution we are confident will satisfy even the most demanding secure network demands."
