Industry Joins Forces During the ‘Face-to-Face’ IMTC Interoperability Testing Event at NXP Software.
Six major telecommunication companies, being Orange Lab, PacketVideo, Samsung, Nextreaming, Alcatel-Lucent and NXP Software, came to the NXP Software office in Suresnes,
Five days of intensive interoperability tests were conducted between servers, multimedia players and various prototype handsets. The tests were carried out according the latest 3GPP Release 7 specifications.
This year’s testing focused on NAT traversal, RTSP fast startup, high bit rate HSDPA QVGA streaming, fast content switching and network adaptation. Combinations of different features were tested at the same time to ensure maximum interoperability.
