March 2, 2010

VIENNA, Austria, March 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ –

– Total Revenue up 9%

– Ambitious Product and Sales Targets for 2010

Today, TeleTrader Software AG (Vienna Stock Exchange: TTAG, ISIN: AT
0000713854), which is listed on the Viennese Stock Exchange, published
provisional figures for fiscal 2009. In a challenging market environment, the
international software company succeeded in increasing sales by some 9% to
EUR 6.71 million in 2009. This marked growth is attributable, in particular,
to the positive performance in Germany (plus 32%) and in the overseas areas
serviced by TeleTrader, namely the USA and Japan (plus 55%). “This marked
increase in sales against the general trend in the IT market in 2009 must be
rated even more highly given that many of Austria’s well-known software
companies have had to accept sharp falls in sales in some areas,” says Roland
Meier
, CEO of TeleTrader Software AG, with satisfaction, as he takes stock of
fiscal 2009.

In tune with the positive trend in sales, TeleTrader also improved its
results significantly in the fourth quarter of 2009. With earnings on
ordinary activities (EGT) of TEUR 101, the Company achieved the second
highest Q4 profit in TeleTrader’s history. As a result of this trend
reversal, the EGT for the year in 2009 was improved to TEUR -73 (Q3 EGT: TEUR
-174).

“TeleTrader’s positive performance, particularly in the current difficult
macroeconomic environment, shows that the course adopted by TeleTrader -
internationalization combined with focusing its product range – is correct,”
comments the Company’s founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board,

Christian J. Baha, on the developments in 2009, adding: “The fact that
TeleTrader now ranks as a permanent fixture among the providers of financial
data in Germany and Switzerland, too, demonstrates the Company’s good
performance and also makes me proud of TeleTrader.”

2009 - A year of successful product innovation

    - TeleTrader Professional analysis tools revised and expanded to
include MSCI and Dow Jones data
    - TeleTrader Analyzer used by more international banks
    - TeleTrader Mobile started with real-time data

In 2009, MSCI index data and additional foreign language news services
from the Dow Jones family were added to TeleTrader’s leading product
“TeleTrader Professional”. The work on completely redesigning the automated
technical analysis tools was also largely completed and these will be
launched in the first quarter of 2010 with Release 8.0.

Since 2009, TeleTrader Analyzer has also been offered to users of Sungard
Market Map in a joint venture with the international Sungard Group and this
means that it is already used in banks such as Credit Suisse, Clariden Leu
and Raiffeisen Switzerland.

The Company achieved a genuine first in the form of TeleTrader Mobile in
2009. TeleTrader Mobile is a browser application for smart phones, which can
supply multiple end devices from iPhones to Blackberrys with real-time data.
It is also available in combination with the TeleTrader Professional
application, meaning that stock market fees do not have to be paid twice.
Access figures for TeleTrader Mobile have more than doubled since the launch
of the new version.

2.2 billion security queries in 2009

Current market conditions are also very technically demanding for any
data provider. In 2009 alone, the data volume transmitted by Deutsche Borse
increased by more than 30% to over 65,000 data batches every 10 seconds. In
2009, the data supplied to customers by TeleTrader reached an all-time high
at approximately 2.2 billion queries, which equates to an increase of some
40% year on year. This is why it is important for TeleTrader to guarantee
that its own system has a level of availability of well above 99%. It more
than succeeded in this even when faced with the challenges of 2009 through a
consistent improvement in the quality of TeleTrader systems. As a result,
investment of almost EUR 1 million in the past three years has more than paid
off.

2010 – A year of more growth and new product features

“TeleTrader has set itself a deliberately ambitious target for 2010 with
planned growth in sales of 14% to just under EUR 7.6 million,” states Roland
Meier
, explaining the way forward. “We also want to attract attention with
some product innovations,” he adds.

In the next few days, the latest Release 8.0 of TeleTrader’s flagship
product “TeleTrader Professional,” which includes a completely new version of
TeleTrader Language allowing traders to compile their own studies with new
indicators and trading signals, will be launched on the market. It also
contains an extension to the Pivot Point drawing tool and Fibonacci
instruments, as well as tools to facilitate cooperation between users with
the option of sending files, studies and images electronically. Further
trading integration tools allowing users to trade directly with various
brokers are also expected in the course of 2010.

TeleTrader – The leading innovator in the financial data sector

“In recent years, TeleTrader has shown that we have been able to develop
new customers and regions with both existing and new products,” Roland Meier sums up. “We aim to continue on this successful course with solutions to meet
future demand for mobile information, for tools to allow the integration of
brokers in trading, but also with various innovations in the area of
algorithmic trading. In this regard, we shall press ahead with expanding both
the quantity and the quality of our data,” he concludes.
