China VoIP & Digital Telecom Inc. Subsidiary Signs Virtualization Agreement with Huaneng Power International Inc.

JINAN, Shandong, China, March 8 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Beijing PowerUnique Technology Co., Ltd. (BPUT), one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of China VoIP & Digital Telecom Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CVDT), today announced that it has signed a virtualization agreement with Huaneng Power International Inc. (NYSE: HNP) in Beijing to launch its integrated datacenter virtualization solution.

Huaneng Power International, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the generation and sale of electric power to the regional or provincial grid companies located primarily in China and Singapore. It operates and manages power plants in Liaoning, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Gansu, and Hunan provinces, as well as in Shanghai and Chongqing municipalities. Huaneng Power International is a publicly traded company with stock listings in New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai. It had a total generation capacity of 39,203 megawatts, making it one of the largest public power producers in China.

BPUT will provide the customer with world-leading comprehensive datacenter solution technologies. This will help the customer reduce investment and operating expenses, lowering the total cost of business ownership. It will also help the Huaneng Power International enhance its datacenter security and reduce the required number of servers, resulting in higher energy savings, lower emissions and more environmentally-friendly effects.
