Berk-Tek, Ortronics, DuPont Communications Cabling Solutions, OFS and the International Copper Association Offer Free Seminar Series on Data Center Cabling Infrastructure Design

NEW LONDON, Conn., July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Berk-Tek, Ortronics, DuPont Communications Cabling Solutions, OFS and the International Copper Association announce their sponsorship of a free seminar series on Data Center Cabling Infrastructure Design. The series of six seminars will be held in Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; Phoenix, AZ; Atlanta, GA; and Minneapolis, MN from July through October.

Speakers from Berk-Tek, Ortronics, DuPont Communications Cabling Solutions, and OFS present topics developed specifically for data center designers, developers, managers and end-users that need a comprehensive understanding of data center cabling infrastructure, including a detailed overview of the TIA-942 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers that was ratified in April 2005. Bringing together industry leaders to provide the latest instruction in the design of physical plant infrastructure with the data facility, the seminar also covers cost-effective data center/SAN (storage area network) design; fiber optic and copper technologies for data centers/SANs; and cable fire safety for data centers/SANs.
