Softek to Highlight Data Mobility Solutions at IBM Storage Symposium

Softek is an exhibitor at the show (Booth 13), which is being held in New Orleans July 25 - 28 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

The company is celebrating entry into its third year of participation in the IBM TotalStorage Proven interoperability program by announcing that the Softek TDMF and Softek Replicator for z/OS software has successfully completed certification testing for IBM DS8000 and DS6000 storage arrays. The IBM TotalStorage Proven program is a testing and configuration initiative designed to foster end-to-end interoperability in multi-vendor IBM-based storage environments.

Supporting Softek's mission to promote non-disruptive data migration across heterogeneous environments, Carey Atkin, the original developer of Softek TDMF, will deliver a technical session focusing on methods and tools for moving data from one system to another. Atkin will be speaking on "Leveraging Non-disruptive Data Migration for Technology Refresh and Data Consolidation," on Wednesday, July 27 at 9:00 am in Grand Salon 15.
