Mellenia Telecom LLC and VoX Communications Enter Into National Master Agent and Wholesale Agreement
Posted on: Wednesday, 27 July 2005, 09:00 CDT
Mellenia Telecom, LLC and VoX Communications, Inc. , a premier packet communications services company providing residential and business Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone service nationwide, announced today that they have entered into a master agent and wholesale agreement. VoX Communications is a wholly owned subsidiary of eLEC Communications Corp. (OTCBB:ELEC).
As part of the agreement, Mellenia will offer its current and future agents the opportunity to become authorized VoX agents so they can sell VoX VoIP services, disperse VoX Internet Access Devices, and activate new customer accounts via the VoX Web Portal. In addition, the agreement allows Mellenia to sell VoX VoIP wholesale services, including IP Origination and Termination, to other VoIP providers, such as IXCs, CLECs, ISPs, cable operators, wireless providers, and others.
Mellenia's master agent program supports more than 2,500 qualified agents nationwide with a comprehensive group of services. This program creates opportunities for independent dealers, agents and specialty retailers to offer wireless products and service activations, and earn highly competitive commissions
VoX's President Mark Richards commented, "Founded by industry visionary Dr. Anas Khalaf, Mellenia Telecom has agents throughout the U.S. who will represent us well. We look forward to a great relationship with Mellenia and are confident that our technical ability will afford them flexibility and implementation execution that they have not yet seen."
Mellenia Telecom's Founder and President Dr. Anas A Khalaf said, "We're excited to be a master agent for VoX Communications. VoX, with its own proprietary VoIP platform to ensure high quality of service, is quickly becoming one of the leading broadband telephony providers in the U.S., and we are proud to represent them. We have set a target of 40,000 subscribers using VoX VoIP within the next 6 months."
"VoX's broadband telephone service is feature-rich - with more than 20 call features, voicemail and enhanced call services that are 'bundled' and offered at competitive prices. VoX broadband telephone service will easily sell itself," Dr. Khalaf added.
