OctetString Joins RSA Secured(R) Partner Program; New Relationship Certifies Product Interoperability, Compatibility Between OctetString's Virtual Directory Engine (VDE) and RSA ClearTrust(R) Web Access Management Software

OctetString has joined the RSA Secured(R) Partner Program to certify interoperability and compatibility between OctetString's Virtual Directory Engine (VDE 3.0) software and RSA ClearTrust(R) web access management software. As a member of the RSA Secured Partner Program, OctetString receives RSA Secured Partner Program certification, which signifies that a technical partnership has been established and that VDE 3.0 has been certified as interoperable with RSA ClearTrust software.

OctetString's VDE provides enterprise applications with real-time access to identity data that is dispersed and isolated throughout the IT infrastructure. VDE makes identity information immediately available from native repositories without the need for synchronizing new and local copies or developing significant custom code. Interoperating with RSA ClearTrust software, VDE helps enable organizations to implement secure access to Web applications within intranets, extranets, portals and exchange infrastructures in less time and with less intrusion than traditional integration methods. Because VDE allows RSA ClearTrust software to tap existing repositories of user information, no new IT infrastructure or copies of user identity data need to be created.
