NEW YORK, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Business Technology Partners(BTP) , a technology consulting firm that designs and manages technology solutions, announced today that the New Jersey Schools Construction Corporation (NJSCC) has selected BTP as a NJSCC pre-approved vendor. Certified to provide technology and design consulting services for telecommunications and security systems, BTP is part of a select group of technology companies chosen for this program.
BTP is also participating in the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program. The program's goal is to ensure that 25 % of the total dollar value of all publicly advertised contracts awarded by the NJSCC within a fiscal year goes to small business enterprises. As an SBE, BTP can help architects, construction companies and engineering firms fulfill their set aside requirements.
BTP also helps the construction project team in identifying E-rate funding opportunities. E-rate provides discounts to assist most schools and libraries in obtaining affordable telecommunications systems and Internet access. Discounts can range from 20% to 90% of the costs of eligible services.
"Business Technology Partners is excited to be part of the NJSCC and its program to help upgrade the technology for its school systems. We're proud of the fact that we can make a positive impact on students' lives and the communities in which we live," said Joshua Aaron, president of Business Technology Partners.
