SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 2003--
Fast-Growing Company Announces Certification With CSG Systems Solution
Alopa Networks (http://www.alopa.com), a recognized leader in Operations Support Systems (OSS) software for broadband service providers, today announced that it has been certified by CSG Systems to support billing services for CSG's high-speed Internet customers. This milestone makes Alopa's popular MetaServ(TM) product compatible with the top three billing systems in the North American cable broadband market, which serve a combined 90 percent of the industry.
Alopa's certification for CSG Systems' HSD Interface will enable broadband operators using CSG's billing and customer care solutions to provision high-speed data services with the Alopa MetaServ(TM)software solution.
"This clearly puts Alopa in a leadership position in the market," Alopa CEO Tom Engdahl said. "With certifications for all three billing adapters squared away, any forward-looking MSO will clearly see that Alopa is the best -- the only -- choice for provisioning of high-speed data as well as advanced IP services like Internet telephony, multimedia, and interactive gaming."
Alopa MetaServ, which automates provisioning of back-office servers and processes, is also compatible with most major email systems, commercial DHCP and CMTS servers, and call management systems, including CommunigatePro (CGPro), Q-Mail, iPlanet, iMerge, Nuera, and Syndeo.
