Posted on: Friday, 31 October 2003, 06:00 CST

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 31, 2003--

Event to be held November 3 and 4, 2003 in Washington, D.C.

The FCC's Triennial Review Order establishes a new paradigm for telecom competition that increases the opportunity and risk at the edge of the enterprise network. The pressure is on network service providers to compete with the growing threat of wireless infiltration. Increasingly, wireline and wireless carriers will be competing for wallet share. Alfred Mockett, in a keynote address at the Yankee Group's 2003 Telecom Industry Forum, will highlight how U.S. carriers can leverage the successes from other global industries to meet the challenges facing the U.S. telecom industry. Mr. Mockett will draw on his own and his company's experiences devising and delivering solutions for the global communications, entertainment and financial services sectors.
