Sprint Announces Arrangement With Comcast to Provide Connectivity Services for Comcast Digital Voice

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Sprint today announced an arrangement with Comcast, the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, to provide connectivity between traditional phone providers and Comcast Digital Voice in select markets.

Through this agreement, Sprint will provide connectivity for Comcast Digital Voice, Comcast's new voice service using Internet protocol. This deal represents Sprint's continued expansion into the cable market. Sprint is leveraging its communications assets and expertise to help deliver voice services to the cable industry.
