SIGGRAPH 2005 will also feature George Lucas as the keynote speaker, the latest research on super cell tornados that could save thousands of lives by allowing scientist to "go inside" a tornado, and the latest images from Mars, as well as more than 250 leading technology companies exhibiting their next line of products.

Its most direct application is in walking guidance and postural support. Other possible applications include automatic avoidance of collisions or falls, GPS-guided walking navigation, and pedestrian flow control. It can also provide a novel shared kinetic-sensation interface. Potential Future Use: A device that controls a person's movement by remote control.
Extreme Fashion: A Live Glimpse Into the Future of Fashion and Technology Incorporating computer graphics, science, and technology into the fashion industry has transformed computer enhanced-garments, textiles, and wearables from fantasy to reality. Media are able to preview a live showcase put together by high-end fashion designers, textile producers, artists, scientists, and researchers.
