Three Railroad Cars Derail in Aberdeen

Jul. 28--Three Burlington Northern-Sante Fe railroad cars appeared to derail Wednesday night in Aberdeen.

The cars were tipped on their sides behind Conlin's Furniture, 629 Circle Drive, but no one appeared to be injured.

The American News began receiving tips about the apparent derailment around 8 p.m., but it's unknown when it occurred.

As of 9 p.m., the Aberdeen Police Department and Aberdeen Fire and Rescue had not been alerted of the incident. Representatives of Burlington Northern-Santa Fe could not be reached.
