Apian Software to Distribute Global Bay Mobile Technologies' AccessPoint Software

Apian Software Incorporated and Global Bay Mobile Technologies have today announced a partnership whereby Apian will become a reseller of Global Bay's AccessPoint for Market Research product. AccessPoint for Market Research provides all the tools necessary for deployment of surveys and forms for handheld Pocket PC and Palm-based Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs). The Apian offering will be branded Apian SurveyHost Mobile and will include a full range of services required for PDA survey design, deployment and data reporting.

Data collection and market research professionals have long depended upon paper-based surveys to gather information when web or kiosk surveys are simply not practical. The migration of surveys to PDAs has the mobility of paper, yet provides numerous other benefits including ease of use, quick deployment and complex logic built directly into the surveys. Re-keying of data is eliminated, data cleanup time is reduced and more rapid data reporting is provided using the AccessPoint system. This means better quality data with a faster turnaround time.
