MySpace Unveils Facebook Sync

August 31, 2010

MySpace, which recently made changes to its website to more closely resemble social networking rival Facebook, is now allowing its users to sync their posts to Facebook, as well.

The changes mean people on Facebook will be able to see their friends’ MySpace profiles and posts without leaving Facebook.

Members of MySpace will also be able to share their music, videos, apps, links and photos across both sites.

MySpace has had failing advertising revenues and stalling growth among users. The changes announced on Monday are part of an overhaul to help increase traffic on the site.

The popular music-based social networking site is also renegotiating a search partnership as its current contract with Google is about to end.
