The Appro HyperBlade Server Cluster solution provides outstanding performance and reliability for a broad range of enterprise and technical computing applications. It supports up to 80 blades/160 CPUs in one cabinet, utilizes the Linux operating system and demonstrates the Appro BladeDome server management software. The Appro BladeDome is a sophisticated hardware-and-software monitoring and management tool that gives visual feedback on all your hardware subsystems. BladeDome offers a feature-set application delivering basic management functions without the use of expensive baseboard controllers.
Appro will also display its Appro HyperBlade Mini-Cluster Solution. This is a fully integrated cluster solution supporting up to 17 compute blades including a master node. This is the ideal solution for customers wanting to start small in a modular clustering computing environment. Blade servers fit both cluster cabinets with the ability to mix and match blades as needed.
In addition, Appro will showcase its brand-new workstation. This workstation is ideal for complex and demanding graphics applications such as Mechanical Computer Aided Design (MCAD) and Engineering (MCAE) for automotive and aerospace, petroleum exploration and production, scientific visualization, designers, digital content creation artists, 3D modeling and CAD.

GeoCenter, Inc., developer of SeisUP®, a Seismic processing software package, will demonstrate Appro HyperBlade Cluster Solution based on Intel Xeon processors utilizing Linux Red Hat operating system running Geocenter's SeisUP® software. SeisUP is seismic processing software that has been proven to handle extremely large volumes of data.
AMD booth # 2107 / Appro HyperBlade Cluster Solution
AMD, global supplier of integrated circuits for the personal and networked computer and communications markets, will demonstrate Appro HyperBlade Cluster Solution based on AMD Opteron Processors utilizing Linux Red Hat operating system running running Paraview 1.0. Paraview is an open-source visualization software that can display large datasets. This software can run in single mode and in distributed modes with cluster support.
