REDKNEE DELIVERS MULTIMILLION DOLLAR SYSTEM TO NEW BINTEL GROUP PROPERTY

TORONTO, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ – Redknee (TSX:RKN), a leading provider of business-critical billing and charging software and solutions for communications service providers, today announced it has secured a multimillion dollar contract with Azur Congo Brazzaville, a subsidiary of group operator Bintel Ltd, to deploy Redknee’s Turnkey Converged Billing (TCB) solution, as it prepares to launch its mobile operations in the market.

Azur Congo Brazzaville has selected Redknee’s flagship billing and customer care platform to provide the tools to differentiate its service offerings and deliver an enhanced subscriber experience. This multimillion dollar contract is the latest development in Redknee’s long-term relationship with the Bintel Group. In addition to its property in the Republic of Congo, Redknee proudly works with the group mobile network operator in other African markets, including Gabon and Central African Republic.

TCB’s real-time capabilities will also provide the operator with tight revenue control and the ability to offer electronic, prepaid wireless airtime top-ups. This will reduce the need for retail store-fronts and helps to ensure its customers remain connected at all times.
