OHO Interactive and Brandeis University Partner to Launch Redesigned Campus News Site for Brandeis University
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ — OHO Interactive (www.OHO.com) and Brandeis University (www.Brandeis.edu) today announced the launch of the new BrandeisNOW, (www.Brandeis.edu/now), a robust campus news site for Brandeis University faculty, staff and students, as well as for alumni, parents and media. With the goals of improving the user experience and proactively promoting timely information on news and events, Brandeis chose OHO Interactive to design a site that could meet a broad set of objectives.
“Brandeis is a dynamic place and we need an equally dynamic Web site to help faculty, staff and students stay apprised of news and events that take place across the campus and beyond,” said Bill Burger, associate vice president of communications at Brandeis. “We wanted to work with a team that could work quickly and collaboratively to design and build the new site to our standards. OHO’s experience in the education market helped them understand our requirements and translate them into a well-designed site that meets a variety of needs.”
Taking an approach that showcases key stories with areas for both prominent and more discreet content, OHO developed a site that is engaging, highly informational and architected to minimize editorial maintenance. The firm focused on ensuring an intuitive user experience for a diverse set of visitors.
“BrandeisNOW represents a next-generation news and information site,” said Ed Hastings, president and managing partner at OHO Interactive. “It incorporates proven usability designs, social media methods and innovative push techniques which combine to better inform and engage the university’s many constituents in a more compelling way.”
OHO Interactive and Brandeis are also partnering on the launch of a Web site for the popular Brandeis Magazine, scheduled for release later this fall.
