LAKE FOREST, Calif., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bluebook International, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: BBKH) a leading data and software services provider to the property and casualty insurance industry, today announced a joint development agreement with TWG Systems, Inc. to develop a comprehensive Carrier and Managing General Agency (MGA) application for personal and commercial lines auto insurance. The joint product will support agency sales, underwriting, policy fulfillment, billing and claims.
The Indemnex(TM) product created by TWG Systems currently supports a personal lines auto insurance program with Rio National Insurance Services, Inc. Indemnex is a complete underwriting and agency management product that has interactive agency connection via the Web, a full internal processing system for policy issuance, policy management, direct billing, on-line endorsements, financial reporting and statistical reporting; and an integrated claims management system. The Indemnex(TM) system design is for auto insurance products, but the system is expandable for all lines of insurance.
Combining the Bluebook applications BestNet(TM) and BestCentral(TM) claims systems, which specialize in claim workflow, field management and host a vendor portal, with the Indemnex system, the result is a comprehensive, full service software system for insurance carriers and MGA's. Both systems are compatible as programming languages and database platforms are developed on Microsoft's .Net framework.
"This joint effort between Bluebook and TWG reflects mutual respect among organizations that service the challenging insurance software industry," said Steve Harlan, Information Technology Director of TWG. "We both have cutting edge products that are innovative, effective and result in significant cost savings due to new efficiencies."
"We are delighted to partner with TWG Systems for this complete auto insurance application," said Brian C. Jones, EVP of Bluebook. "We expect this to be the beginning of a long term relationship. It is exciting that today's technology affords integration of applications to perform as one without requiring prohibitive costs and time to fully execute. Everyone wins here."
