Kuwait Cellular Telecom Company Operations in Iraq and Africa

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper quoted Assistant Manager for Operations of the Business Development Department of the Kuwait CELLTELL Cellular Telecom Company, Haydham al-Khalid, who said in late June 2005 that the Company intends to continue operations in Iraq
. The Company completed setting up of a 1200 square kilometer network covering most of the urban areas in southern Iraq between the Tigris and the Euphrates Rivers. The Celltell Company has purchased the M. T. C. Cellular Telecom Company which operates on the African continent and owns thirteen concessions to supply cellular telecom services there.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
