Talyst Files Lawsuit Against Phacts
Talyst Inc. filed a complaint in King County Superior Court

Talyst Inc. filed a complaint in King County Superior Court (case number 10-2-37108-7) against Phacts, LLC and its co-founders Thomas and May McCarthy, who are former Talyst employees. The complaint, filed On October 21, 2010, alleges that the McCarthys breached written agreements with Talyst and that the McCarthys along with Phacts have misappropriated Talyst’s trade secrets and engaged in common law unfair competition. The complaint seeks damages and injunctive relief.
“We sought to resolve this dispute outside of court, but could not make progress. Although we do not like having to resort to litigation, Talyst must protect its confidential information and intellectual property,” said Carla Corkern, CEO of Talyst.
