Lancope Appoints Retail Technology Veteran Paul Butka to Advisory Board
ATLANTA, Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — Lancope, Inc., the leader in NetFlow(TM) collection and analysis and the provider of the StealthWatchÃ‚® System for flow-based network performance and security monitoring, today announced the appointment of well-known retail technology veteran Paul Butka, proprietor of the retail information management and consulting firm PB Retail Advisors, LLC, to its advisory board.
A 35-year veteran of The TJX Companies, Inc., where he served most recently as CIO and Executive Vice President, Global Application Development, Butka now owns and operates the retail information management and consulting firm, PB Retail Advisors, LLC. During his tenure, TJX grew to more than $20B in annual revenue and became a global Fortune 200 company. Butka is also a long-time member of the National Retail Federation (NRF) CIO Council, an invitation-only committee consisting of the most prominent CIOs in retail who come together to share ideas and provide technology guidance to the NRF. Recently the NRF named him CIO Council Emeritus.
