Geoscape will release its most up-to-date and definitive market data for American consumers such as population, housing and spending data. Various other firms will present topics on a range of subjects such as the growth and prosperity of the Hispanic and Asian consumer segments and the influence of the black population on American culture. Case studies, showcasing experiences in the market, will be given by firms such as Citigroup's California Commerce Bank, Delta Dental, Telscape, Blockbuster, Bally and Mexican food products manufacturer Sigma Alimentos.
Workshops featuring a variety of influential companies such as retailers, direct marketers, media companies and marketing agencies will provide specific insights on what experience has shown corporate America about fast-growing consumer and business sectors. The event will attract senior level marketing, media and distribution executives throughout the nation and internationally, who seek to understand the state-of-the-art in marketing to an increasingly diverse American populace.
According to Julie Loving, Senior Manager - Consumer Business Insights of AstraZeneca, "The Summit is the one conference on ethnic marketing that you must attend this year."
Last year attendees included multinational companies that wanted to better understand their opportunities for multi-national and multi-cultural business growth. "The accommodations were top-notch. The food assortment was wonderful. The conference staff was excellent. I got a lot out of the sessions and kept the binder close by. I appreciated that the presenters were all accessible and approachable for questions and general conversation," said Jerry Thorpe, Regional Marketing Manager Central East of Starbucks.
Geoscape will unveil its geo-demographic data American Marketscape DataStream: 2006 series at the Summit. The AMDS is of critical importance in order for marketers to properly target today's diverse ethnic populations and goes into unprecedented depth and breadth to accurately measure the American population, with special emphasis on cultural segments such as Hispanic, Asian, African American and other ethnic groups.
