The BitsDuJour Bundle debuted at bitsdujour.com on Monday, December 13th featuring 10 software titles at a total discount of nearly 88%. It will run through Friday, December 24th at 11:59pm EST. The BitsDuJour Bundle is unique in that every software title represented is available for either the Mac or Windows operating systems.

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 16, 2010

“Software bundles of this nature have been making waves in the Mac community for several years now” said Nico Westerdale, the President of BitsDuJour.com and CEO of its parent company, Iconico Inc. “However, Windows users have been sorely neglected. The BitsDuJour bundle is Windows-compatible, but we actually took it a step further and made sure that the included software was available for users on either Windows or OS X. In fact, as far as we know we’re the first deal site to do this with a general interest software bundle.”

The bundle also heralds 4-year old BitsDuJour’s official entrance into the Mac daily deals community. As of January 1st 2011, BitsDuJour will begin offering a daily Mac deal alongside each and every daily Windows deal, or a dual-platform title when available.

“We’re extremely excited to be entering the Mac fray in 2011″ said Westerdale “and are looking forward to introducing our services to OS X users. We think the Mac community will appreciate the breadth and quality of the software that we bring to the table. Not to mention the discounts.”

The BitsDuJour Bundle features a variety of software titles from different genres:

BitDefender Antivirus 2011 is one of the most powerful antivirus engines on the market, and one of the most-licensed. TuneUp Gold provides a number of utilities for cleaning, fixing, and accurately renaming songs in a cluttered music library. NTI Shadow is an award-winning backup utility that supports both one-way backup and two-way synchronization. Screen Calipers is a unique utility that allows users to measure anything on their computer screen via virtual calipers. Postworkshop Artists Edition provides a number of artistic tools for manipulating digital photos, images, and renders.
