Dallas, TX (Vocus) December 21, 2010

Academic Partnerships, LLC (http://www.academicpartnerships.com)], a Dallas-based higher education service provider, announces a new partnership with Texas A&M University-Commerce, part of the Texas A&M family of universities. A&M Commerce will add to its selection of online courses an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). Academic Partnerships will work with A&M-Commerce to enhance its online degree offerings through innovative enrollment services, professor engagement, and student retention processes. Online registration begins December 20, 2010, with classes to start March 28, 2011.

The Texas A&M University-Commerce EMBA and BSBA target working individuals who find it challenging to attend on-campus courses due to work and family obligations.

“We saw that busy work and life schedules prevented a number of students from completing or pursuing business degrees at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The desire was there, but students needed more schedule flexibility,” said Hal Langford, the Dean of Texas A&M University-Commerce College of Business & Technology. “Through our partnership with Academic PartnershipsTexas A&M University-Commerce will deliver to such students the same dynamic A&M-Commerce curriculum offered in classrooms, but at the time and location that is most convenient for them.”

As a higher education service provider, Academic Partnerships works with partner institutions, which now include A&M-Commerce, to support existing academic excellence and help broaden its partner institutions’ ability to deliver quality education to a wider range of students.

“We are pleased and proud to work with an institution dedicated to providing a personal education experience for a diverse community of life-long learners,” said Joe Lynch, Executive VP of Corporate Partnerships. “Academic Partnerships is dedicated to complementing the Texas A&M University-Commerce mission as we seek to help the university expand its outreach to more students online.”

All courses offered in both of these new online business degree programs will be designed and taught by Texas A&M University-Commerce faculty. Both the online EMBA and the online BSBA course length is 10 weeks, with four start dates offered through the year, beginning March 28, 2011. Registration for online classes that begin in March gets underway December 20, 2010. Students are not required to take the GRE/GMAT if they are applying for admission to the online EMBA degree program with a GPA of 3.0 to 4.0 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate work.
