In an effort to stay in touch with its IT support partners and customers, Microsoft’s Stijn Hendrikse, Director SMB, records a video as part of an eMazzanti Technologies visit. The video captures Hendrikse’s explanation of the critical role partners like eMazzanti play in representing the software OEM to end users.

Hendrikse works as Director SMB in the Microsoft Office team. His team is responsible for marketing and selling Microsoft Office in the worldwide Small & Medium Business segment (up to ~250 employees). Microsoft Office sales in this segment represent a multi-billion dollar revenue stream and represents a major growth opportunity with many customers still using Office 2003 or older.

Hendrikse’s team has also been focusing on cloud computing in 2010. Cloud technologies now make it much easier to provide enterprise capabilities to smaller businesses at their own pace and terms. Before moving to the U.S. Hendrikse managed both the consulting and Public Sector sales business for Microsoft in the Netherlands. Before that, he worked for Microsoft partners for the better part of his career.
