Minneapolis (PRWEB) January 3, 2011

Sengistix (http://www.sengistix.com), a leader in the delivery and application of health & safety monitoring services and technology, has announced a partnership with Stove Guard International LTD of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, an innovator in stove fire prevention systems. Terms of the partnership enable Sengistix to provide Stove Guard to customers within its operating states.

Unattended stove top cooking is the #1 cause of household fires. Stove Guard is an effective stove fire prevention system. Stove Guard can prevent many fires that start on a stove. It works by using motion sensors to determine when the stove has been left unattended and turns off the stove after a specified time period. The applications are seemingly endless including institutional settings, seniors living alone, group homes, Alzheimer’s patients or anyone with children.

“Stove Fires are potentially life threatening as well as a significant monetary cost to our customers. I am repeatedly asked for this type of a product and am very excited to now offer it,” states Drew Beaulieu, Account Executive of Sengistix. “With its built-in motion sensor, the Stove Guard shuts the power off to your electric range if the device doesn’t detect movement in a specific period of time. Stove Guard also has a gas stove model,” continues Mr. Beaulieu.

Sengistix LLC states that Stove Guard will be an excellent addition to its product lines which already include health and safety technologies and programs, including Remote and Active Monitoring capabilities and a 24/7 Response Center.

“This partnership will immediately make Stove Guard available to the United States senior and disability markets,” stated Don Uhirch, President of Stove Guard.
