The Flash MP3 Player for Website Developers and Music Artists – PodSnack – Just Added Facebook Integration

January 6, 2011

A new free Flash mp3 player for web developers, music artists, dj’s, pod-casters, bloggers and everybody else.

Troy, MI (PRWEB) January 5, 2011

PodSnack is a new online service that allows developers, website owners, artists, bloggers and regular people to create, customize and share music playlists for free. The users can upload one or more songs from their computer and then customize the resulting playlist. Once created, the music playlists can be shared, embedded or downloaded both as SWF files for HTML websites and as Flash components for full-Flash websites.

“PodSnack is here to eliminate the pain of creating audio players from scratch. The application allows you to build the most common types of players and customize virtually everything! It’s a great solution for web developers and musicians alike!” said the product manager at PodSnack.

Officially released in December 2010, after being in constant development as Beta for about 9 months, the new PodSnack.com allows deep social integration, enabling anyone to actually share the Flash mp3 players directly on their Facebook wall, so others can listen and vote tracks in a very fashionable way.

PodSnack’s target:

1. Web developers. Because it offers audio player templates that are customizable to a great degree, PodSnack constitutes a great solution for web developers who need to get their job done more quickly and easier. Moreover, PodSnack players are compatible with both HTML and Flash websites, so the technology behind a certain website is not a show stopper for web developers.

2. Music artists and DJs. With the launch of PodSnack, there is finally a flexible and reliable solution for music artists and DJs! They can use PodSnack playlists to promote their music on their websites, social media websites such as Facebook, or can use it to share lengthy music mixes. Musicians can even sell their music through their playlists; they have the option to add a “Buy” button on each track, which leads to an URL of their choice.

3. Bloggers and end-users. Bloggers can embed different audio materials into their blog posts, including music and podcasts. However, “PodSnack is not for business only, but on contrary, it can be used for fun, such as creating playlists of your favorite songs and sharing them with your friends. You can even embed them on your Facebook wall. It’s fantastic!” said the company representative.

Music charts with the “Top 10 Player”

A feature that sets PodSnack even further apart from its competition enables users to create music charts based on the listeners’ preferences. The “Top 10 Player” is a music playlist template that allows people to vote for the songs they like. The votes will have an effect on the songs’ position within the playlist, with the songs with the most votes on the top, and the songs with the least votes on the bottom. This feature is especially useful for musicians because they can find out which of their songs are the most popular, directly from their audience.
